Projects » GlobalResource

Summary

GlobalResource was a project that I came up with after using Lutz Roeder's Resourcer to edit the resources for a project I was working on. When we finished the project, we wanted to add a few more languages to it, so we sent the files to our experts for translation. They had a horrible time keeping thier translations in sync with our English resources. And so GlobalResource was born.

GlobalResource allows you to open multiple ResX resource files simultaneously and to quickly and easily edit all of the translations of any resource. You can tell at a glance which translations are missing/undefined. You can also quickly edit any resource value and have an easy reference to the other tranlations of the same value.

If you loose all of your resource values, don't wine to me. I make no guarentee about the safety of this application, and am not responsible for any damage it may cause to you, your project, your computer, or your love life. Make backups. This application is not fully tested and it may very well not perform as advertised. It works fine on my computer.

GlobalResource is Freeware. It is not open-source. Don't ask me for the source code. You can't see it. I hate spyware, and will not distribute any leech-ware with my software. To remove GlobalResource from your computer, use the icon found in your Add/Remove Programs control panel.

If you experience crashes or unpredicatable behavior, and can produce a detailed step-by-step method you used to produce the problem, and any associated stack trace (I don't want to know about memory dumps, CLR exceptions, or BSODs), feel free to contact me with the information.
